In 2007, a group of regular people took a challenge to eat a plant-based diet, with fish as an option, similar to the now popular Longevity Diet. Blood tests revealed they dramatically lowered their risk of developing diabetes, heart disease and cancer and grew on average 4 years biologically younger in only 30 days.
The first half of the film was dedicated to lifestyle choices. Dr Neal Barnard MD, head of PCRM Physicians Committee For Responsible Medicine, and T Colin Campbell Ph.D, author and lead researcher of the China Study, share their clinical experience with plant based diets, that have now been incorporated into the Cleveland Clinics world leading heart program.
In the 2nd half of the film, viewers will see that there is a lot more to wellbeing then food choice. With input from David R Hawkins MD, and healers Larry Steel, Atherton Drenth, Judi Bechard and Lori Wilson, viewers discover the Ten Principle elements for well being.
David R Hawkins MD, said in one of his many books that the real root source of Heart Disease was repressed love. In the Voyage to Betterment film, this reality was literally caught on film, for the first time in history, as viewers can see the energy fields blocking love, literally leaving the physical heart of one of the film's main characters, Ben. When Atherton Drenth helped Ben let go the root issues, preventing him from living the life of his dreams, there was a dramatic lifelong change in Ben.

A long time ago I did the holistic basics: eat plants, learn yoga & Reiki. I stopped practicing Reiki after learning B.O.S. with Larry Steel, which was far more comprehensive and effective.
